Drew Miller went 3-0 with a 3.47 ERA over seven games, including four starts, for the AZL Padres. In 23.1 innings he allowed 19 hits, walked ten and struck out 14. The opposiiton hit .218 off him, .238 with RISP.
Miller was promoted to the Eugene Emeralds on July 24, 2006 where he went 2-1 with a 3.62 ERA over nine games, including eight starts. In 37.1 innings he allowed 39 hits, walked 20 and struck out 23. The opposition hit .267 off him.
Notes:
Drew Miller pitched for Seminole State College in Oklahoma for the last two years, also posting great strikeout numbers. This season, the righty whiffed 76 in 50.1 innings of work, putting up a 4.29 ERA along the way. He was signed as a draft-and-follow in 2006. |
